These past few months jenious has been busy creating a range of newsletters via mailchimp & campaign monitor to allow our clients to access people through their online/email use. We are creating templates so they can then stay in touch with their customers on a monthly, weekly or daily basis, anywhere, out & about, not just through the old school ways of letterbox drops.

jenious loves to help (happy happy joy joy). and by creating a base template gives some well deserved control back to the client while making sure that the brand is kept intact & consistent, and the business maintains its professionalism. With every job there’s always the finishing touches, and these days no one can ignore the social media side of things: Facebook cover images, LinkedIn business pages, email signature footers. More and more clients are seeing the benefits of that little bit of extra marketing potential.

A long standing client has recently allowed me the chance to begin my appreciation with the beauty of the infographic.

According to trusty Wikipedia the definition of an infographic is: “…graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present complex information quickly and clearly.They can improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system’s ability to see patterns and trends. The process of creating infographics can be referred to as data visualisation, information design or information architecture“

These case studies for my client IsoPro have been produced to be viewed online for exactly the above purpose: to bring meaning to ‘data’ in a visual form. A great way to make ‘less text’ which is much more appealing these days with peoples attention spans or the ease of readability on screen.

“Create a website that will bring in the architects and high end clients” was part of the brief. No worries! Research, research research!

With ultimate clientele on the check list, my goal was to see how they marketed themselves, their websites and what appealed, to get a sense of application. Luckily for me my client & I were on the same page and I believe from this that a strong, professional, clean and visually appealing site has been formed.

I was determined to contain the site so as to have no scrolling. Text content was minimized with only necessary information to be viewed this keeping things simple, clean and “slick”.

After working on the print collateral for ISOPro the next step was to translate not only the brochure content & look’n’feel into this website, but also allow it to extend from the actual software graphics themselves; see below. I needed there to be a strong connection for viewers who will be using the product, but also gain appeal for those high-end decision makers who may no necessarily ever see the product in use.

As much as the client needed the website to be “full” of content my challenge was to turn this wordpress template into a dynamic graphic piece of work that drew you in to actually read the content.

An epic and ongoing vision is what this website is. The collaboration between myself and the client has been vital as we are continually adding new pages and working on the photo gallery that once complete will be the all important part of this site.

I do love the images that we have already used and elements that are strictly “Stone”; the rings are an ever-present element & branding in all the marketing material produced and they do make a statement.

This site also uses advertising within, as the corresponding service pages work in conjunction with mail campaigns, posters and flyers that the client distributes.

How do you get teenagers to celebrate their end of high school life in a safe, productive and yet challenging way? Queenstown Schoolies! The aim was to extend from the main company branding (CEAA) but bring in the fun adventurous imagery that would appeal to teenagers to spend their time and money having fun and pushing themselves beyond their comfort zone, without alcohol!

The graphics within this site are focused more on youth and appealing to their adventurous side. I needed to keep the theming from CEAA but push it a bit with ‘funkiness’.

I needed this site to me more image driven as opposed to text, but it needed to be professional, straightforward and informative at the same time. Consumers need to trust their tradies and know that they are being looked after a qualified professional. I believe Jenious was able to achieve this.

Something fun! A little bit playful! Finally my chance to incorporate my passion for photography with bright, colourful images!

With no specific brief I was able to take the already jenious developed logo, an organic yet solid brand, and combine it with interesting ‘drink inspired’ imagery to create a lively website for this local business who provide “…fun and exciting cocktail course… & events”

The balance of black & white, and the colours allows for some playfulness to be experienced; a sense of a good night/day out! A happiness that is brought out of the service that Perfect Garnish wish to provide.
